If you wanna get the job done quick and easy, let’s get the tools we need and maybe some of the ones we want— because why not lol. It’s our kitchen and if we’re gonna be in here for an hour or two might as well get some stuff to ✨spice things up✨ (haha see what I did there… anyways)
Cooking
Baking Dishes

Amazon, ~ $45 USD

Amazon, ~ $20 USD
Crock pots / Slow Cookers

Amazon, ~ $30 – $43 USD

Amazon, ~ $110 USD

Amazon, ~ $19 USD
Tools
THE CLIPS (Food prep bag holder stand)

Amazon, ~ $9 USD
If you haven’t seen these before, now you have. Ziplock clips to keep those bad boys open while you (literally) toss all your food in. I hate seasoning meat and chopping up veggies and having to wash my hands and then single handedly hold open a bag.. struggle no more!
Vacuum sealer

Amazon, ~ $100 USD
Yes, this is a must. I have an old vacuum sealer that was given to me by a family member, but they should last you forever and save you lots of food. If you know some things will be stored in the freezer for a longer period of time, and you don’t have one already then go ahead and add this to your little shopping cart!
Vacuum seal bags

Amazon, ~ $28 USD
The things to go with the thing. If you have a vacuum sealer, you’ll need some bags. You really don’t need much to get started. If your vacuum sealing dinners for a family of 2-4 this should be good to get you started.
Measuring Cup

Amazon, ~ $10 USD
Kitchen Scale

Amazon, ~ $10 USD
This is similar to the one I’ve had for years and it does the job. I don’t even normally use it when doing a normal meal prep but if you want to evenly weigh out meat or meals then this should do!
Containers
Food Storage

Amazon, ~ $24 USD

Amazon, ~ $42 USD

Amazon, ~ $14 USD
Whether you prefer glass or plastic containers, these can both be reused if used carefully. I prefer glass. Do I always use it? No. But I will say, do you buy pre-packed cold meat at the store? Do you buy anything that already comes in a convenient container to store food in? Because I’ve never bought plastic containers such as these. I’ve used Tupperware and reused containers from food I already buy. All flimsy plastic containers only last so long. Glass is definitely the way to go, as they’re supposed to be better for your health and they’re sturdier, but you can always use containers you already have on hand and you won’t need to purchase any right away!
Bento Box

Amazon, ~ $17 USD

Amazon, ~ $33 USD

Amazon, ~ $30 USD
I love to prepack a bento box, with mine or my kiddos favorite fruits and vegetables and sandwhich or wrap or whatever you choose. These are convenient for packing multiple kids lunches because they can pick out their own design and are easy to grab and go. There are adult/teen bento boxes which are larger in size and some come with utensils as well. They’re best for cold or room temperature lunches, unless you get one that contains a thermos, then can reheat leftovers and place them in too! There are so many different sizes and styles that you’re sure to find the right one that fits your needs!
Thermos

Amazon, ~ $28

Amazon, ~ $16 USD
These are amazinggggg! My little one doesn’t care for many main course cold or room temperature foods. So, I can make dinner the night before and in the morning pack some leftovers in a thermos for her and I and usually I just pair whatever it is with a simple side like fruit or crackers. These were the best when she first started school because even if I didn’t precook something to put in there, I could just warm up some chicken in the airfryer or heat up canned soup and off she went. So you can meal prep to use these later on or even in a pinch!
Yogurt Parfait Cups

Amazon, ~ $18 USD
I, myself am not a ‘get up and have breakfast’ kind of person. Usually I catch myself around 10 am or so, finally feeling like I want to have something to eat. These are great for prepping your favorite flavor yogurt, granola and fruit to have for breakfast or just for a snack (if you have a family of snackers, like I do).
Extra fun for the littles
Cookie cutters

Amazon, ~ $10 USD

Amazon, ~ $20 USD
These can be used to cut fruits and veggies into cute and fun shapes, or even small sandwiches for small hands! These packs shown above also come with cute little picks to place in the food, just an extra touch to make lunch more fun! These are definitely less for convenience but fun to use every once in awhile, since you have so much extra free time and energy from meal prepping lol.
Kids Tupperware

Amazon, ~ $15 USD
You need Tupperware. You probably have some already, these are just too cute for the kids! These definitely aren’t a need they’re a want, but I know I can always use more Tupperware and now the kids can have some too!
